WA closes General Skilled Migration Program for 2023/24

As of the 2nd of February 2024, WA Migration Services has stopped accepting new nomination applications for visa subclasses 190 and 491. All places for the 2023 - 24 program year have been filled and now exceed the available allocation.

Applications that have been submitted before 2nd February 2024 will continue to get assessed under existing eligibility criteria. However, as the received applications exceed nomination places, some applications will be put on hold until the new financial year commences. Affected applicants will be contacted accordingly.
