  • 1392 Nominations for the Skilled Work Regional Visa (491)

  • 1175 nominations for the Skilled Nominated Visa (190)

  • 10 places for the Business Innovation and Investment Program

This leaves the ACT with

  • 850 available places for the Skilled Nominated visa (190)

  • The Business Innovation and Investment Program cap has been reached and the program is now closed for the remainder of this financial year

The ACT has only until the 30th of June 2023 to fill up the remaining nominations, as with the start of the new financial year on July 1, new allocations will be put in place. Subsequently, the ACT reviewed its skills list and nomination guidelines and added a further 128 occupations to the list. The focus is to make it easier for prospective migrants to apply for ACT nominations, including overseas candidates.
